Special Notes Aside from its poisonous nature, Oleander is drought and pollution tolerant. They require little maintenance but can make great hedges. Just be sensitive to your neighbors. If they have livestock, especially horses, DO NOT PLANT OLEANDER. It takes less than 6 leaves to kill a horse.
